Opening conference of the interdisciplinary colloquium “HABISENS-Modes d’habiter et sensibilités environnementales émergentes. Quels enjeux pour la qualité de vie ?” organized by ARPEnv, Université Rennes 2, Université de Nantes, Rennes Metropole, CNRS-Dépasser les frontières, ESO-UMR6590 Espace et Societé. The PROHABIT project was presented as an example of interdisciplinary research. The participants in the colloquium were environmental psychologists, architects, urban planners, geographers, sociologists and anthropologists.

Sustainable building and urban planning, College of Industrial Engineers

The Construction Commission, the Urban Planning Commission and the Smart Cities working group have organized the “Building and sustainable urbanism” conference with the with the objective of discussing urban transformations focusing on sustainability, including economics, social cohesion, environmental protection, resilience and energy efficiency, among other issues. The session was attended by experts from both the public and private sectors.

The participants were 50 third-year students, three audiovisual artists invited by the LOOP Festival, who collaborated as tutors of the analysis work done in each neighborhood using video (Mireia Sallarés, Miquel Garcia, Claudio Zulián), and members of the PROHABIT research team (Leandro Madrazo, Mario Hernández, Ángel Martín Cojo (ARC), Enric Pol (PsicoSao).
